Who We Are

Democracy Iowa launched in February 2025, born from a gathering of friends concerned about the erosion of individual rights, freedom of speech, and the rule of law. What began as a moment of frustration and distress quickly grew into a broad, energized community—Democrats, Republicans, and Independents alike—committed to learning from one another, sharing accurate, timely information, and standing up in defense of our irreplaceable democracy.
